Carla Cohen is a French illustrator based in Italy and specialises in painting with oils on canvas and board. She has a passion for creating realistic portraits for clients with a very careful eye on details and layered textures to evoke an emotional response.

Carla has studied Beaux Arts across several European venues including Atelier de Sevres in Paris, Gerrit Rietveldt Academy in Amsterdam and the Florence Design Academy and is currently being mentored by Lucio Parrillo at his studio in Florence.

Having discovered and being inspired by the fantasy and superhero genre she has embraced the creativity within this industry and begun to craft her own portrayals of these pop culture icons.
