BÉLEN ORTEGA
Belén is a comicbook artist and illustrator from Granada, Spain.
She works as a cover and interior artist for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Heavy Metal and Dupuis as well as being an illustrator for video game companies such as Riot Games and Fortnite.
She is currently working on the second volume of Patriarchy, a collaboration with scriptwriter Sylvain Runberg and Annabelle Gervais, expected to be published in June 2023.

What was the first comic you bought?
Not too good enough memory to remember it, but it was a manga for-sure.
Favourite character to draw?
Rin from "The Blade of the Inmortal"
Biggest artistic influences?
At the beginning drawing manga, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, Hiroaki Samura, Clamp, Yukito Kishiro or Takeshi Obata influenced me. Now I'm strongly passionate about Sean Murphy, Ben Oliver, Dan Mora, Jeff Dekal, Sara Pichelli, Gigi Cavenago, Stuart Immonen, Matteo De Longis... the list is endless.
Favourite convention snack?
I like chocolate A LOT! All types, all colours and shapes. Yummy!
