DAVID LAFUENTE
David Lafuente is a Spanish-born comic book creator and illustrator.
He broke into the US comic industry in 2008 drawing the sleeper hit miniseries Patsy Walker: Hellcat written by Kathryn Immonen. He then worked on the relaunched Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Ham, New Mutants, Superman, Harley Quinn and Radiant Red.

Favourite character to draw?
If you twist my arm I'll confess that recently I'd drawn a string of commissions starring Magik and she's fun indeed. Batgirl or Flash are always fun as well.
Biggest artistic influences?
My older brothers are artists too and they are probably the biggest. Javier Rodriguez, German Garcia, Javier Pulido, Jason Pearson, Ed McGuinness and Katsuya Terada.
Favourite convention snack?
That's the first time anybody asks me this question! I think I tend to stick to water during conventions? But if anybody wants to bring me some 90s indie comics to read while I table, I'll be most thankful!
