JIMBO SALGADO

Jimbo Salgado is an artist from Manila, Philippines. He started training himself in the comic trade since 1996 while he started studying at the University of the East taken up the course as Bachelor in Science in Fine Arts, major in Advertising Arts.

His works are DC Batman Arkham Unhinged, Team 7 #3, Judge Dredd #7, Transformers More than Meets the Eye Annual work for IDW Publishing, Trading Card Work for Upperdeck Entertainment and The Last Spartan.

He is also a Cover Artist for Different Publishing Studios like Heavy Metal Magazine, Zenescope Entertainment, Skybound Entertainment, Boom Studios, Image Comics, Titan Comics and Valiant Entertainment.

What was the first comic you bought?

Its A Manga Book - Slam Dunk and Yuyu Hakusho. As for american Comics it was Spiderman #1 by Todd Mcfarlane

Favourite character to draw?

Spiderman, Wolverine and Galactus

Biggest artistic influences?

I Love Lee Weeks, Travis Charest, John Paul Leon, Tim Bradstreet, Arthur Adams, Mike Deodato, Leinil Yu, Jim Lee, and Rob Leifeld.

Favourite convention snack?

I always love getting some Whopper or Big Mac 😁
