TIM SHERIDAN
TIM SHERIDAN is an Eisner, Ringo, GLAAD and Critics’ Choice- nominated writer-producer of TV, films and comics!
At the movies, he scripted DC’s Batman: The Long Halloween, Reign of the Supermen and Superman: Man of Tomorrow – among other stuff.
On TV, he’s written for Netflix’s Transformers: War For Cybertron, Dragon Age: Absolution, Masters of the Universe: Revelation and its follow-up Revolution (for which he also wrote the Dark Horse tie-in comics) and more.
Tim is also the co-creator of DC Comics’ Teen Titans Academy, Flashpoint Beyond and Alan Scott: The Green Lantern and has proudly written the official comic book tie-in to the 2026 live-action He-Man film (Dark Horse’s Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate), plus several bonkers issues of IDW’s Star Trek: Lower Decks.
What was the first comic you bought?
TRANSFORMERS #17 "Into the Smelting Pool!" from Marvel for 75¢
Dream character to write for?
Tim Drake. We have a lot in common; I was his age when he debuted, my name is also Tim, I’m also an expert detective. Though I’m less into martial arts than martial science.
Biggest creative influences?
I wouldn’t do this if not for the work of Marv Wolfman that I injected into my brain from a young age. I’d also add Denny O’Neil. Plus Frank Miller (specifically DKR.) And the film that absolutely set me on my path was 1986’s animated Transformers: The Movie, in which I learned that sometimes the good guys don’t win.
