What was the first comic you bought?

I believe it was Majalah Gila-Gila, which was a very iconic magazine series of satirical comics published by Malaysian artists. Ujang and Datuk Lat's works were also my first introduction to comics, and I read them a lot as a child.

Favourite character to draw?

Storm, Poison Ivy, Erica Slaughter, any badass female character really. Swamp Thing too recently because he has a lot of fun details.

Biggest artistic influences?

Artemisia Gentileschi, Käthe Kollwitz, Gustaf Tenggren, Caravaggio, Rembrandt and Klimt, Sergio Toppi, Tula Lotay, Bill Sienkiewicz, Dave McKean, Eleeza, Luis and Romulus Royo, Yoshitaka Amano and Kent Williams.

Favourite convention snack?

Veggie cup noodles, dried fruit, dark chocolate... and lots of water and tea because I talk a lot.
