FEDERICO BERTONI
Federico Bertoni is a comic book artist based in Reggio Emilia.
He has worked for Titan Comics, Mad Cave Studios and other international publishers.
Highlights of his career so far include his work as interior artist and cover artist for the series "Rebel Moon: Nemesis", for Titan Comics, and series such as "Monomyth" and "Nottingham: Maid no More" for Mad Cave Studios, and the participation to the graphic novel "The Singularity" for Image Comics and Black Market Narrative.
What was the first comic you bought?
Spiderman - I'm quite sure it was an issue by Todd McFarlane, that I bought while on holidays in 1997.
Favourite character to draw?
Hellboy, Tank Girl and the Green Goblin.
Biggest artistic influences?
To answer this question briefly is impossible for me! Now my holy trinity is Corona, Scalera and Mastantuono, but when I started it was Mignola, Miller and Mastantuono. I'd then add four more names: Lavoradori, and then the three Masters above all, Battaglia, Toppi and Ashley Wood.
Favourite convention snack?
An Americano cocktail or Pizza!
