SIMONE RAGAZZONI
Simone Ragazzoni is an Italian comic book artist based in Rome.
He is a member of Oni Robot Studio and has worked with many of the major publishers of American comics: his previous works include "Power Rangers Unlimited", "Power Rangers Universe" and "DUNE" (for BOOM! Studios), "Robotech: Rick Hunter" and "Kamen Rider Zero" for Titan Comics, and "Rogue Sun" and "Supermassive" for Image Comics.
He has also worked as illustrator for Marvel Champions, for Asmodee NA, and Marvel Legendary, for Upper Deck.
What was the first comic you bought?
Definitely an issue of Dragon Ball but I cannot remember which one.
Favourite character to draw?
The Power Rangers, definitely, along with all the apparently innocuous characters, that prove to be the most dangerous ones.
Biggest artistic influences?
I have many, but the main influences are Humberto Ramos, Pepe Larraz, Matteo Scalera, Sean Gordon Murphy, Joe Madureira, Kim Jacinto, Greg Tocchini and Greg Capullo.
Favourite convention snack?
Takoyaki.
