SOO LEE

Soo Lee is a freelance comic artist and writer living in NYC.

She is the illustrator and co-creator of the Bram Stoker Award title "CARMILLA: The First Vampire" and its sequels; & co-creator of comic series: "Witness Point", "Kingdom of Earth", and "Minor Threats: Welcome To Twilight".

She is also the creator of projects with "The Wizard of Oz" & "Disney Villains"; collaborator on titles with "Star Wars"; and the writer of "Thundercats: CHEETARA" amongst works on various other titles and cover illustrations.

Soo has published with a number of studios including Dark Horse, BOOM, DC Comics, Dynamite, Skybound, & Ahoy.

What was the first comic you bought?

That was a long time ago so I don't remember exactly what, but I used to buy Korean translated manga when I was a kid.

Favourite character to draw?

My logo, which is my dog!

Biggest artistic influences?

Too many to mention all. Yoshitaka Amano, JPL, Cam Kennedy and Naoko Takeuchi off the top of my head.

Favourite convention snack?

Sugar-free caffeine beverages.
